DICOM International supports Kodak business with own strong service organisation

Kriens (Switzerland), August 28,  2012 – DICOM International, the leading value added distributor of hardware and software solutions for document capture in EMEA, affirmed today, that Kodak´s recently announced decision to initiate sales processes for its market-leading Personalized Imaging and Document Imaging businesses will not affect the distributor's ongoing and future business with Kodak products.
Regardless of any further developments in the planned sale, DICOM continues to see itself as Kodaks strongest business partner in EMEA and will pursue to support its resellers as well as the resellers’ final customers with its own service organisation in successfully trading, maintaining and sustainably deploying Kodak document scanners.

DICOM provides vendor agnostic demand analysis and implementation services as well as hardware maintenance and local language support for professional document scanners from Avision, Canon, Fujitsu, ibml, Inotec, Image Access, Kodak and Panasonic with about 100 service experts trained and authorized by each of the manufacturers.

“With the largest scanner installed base across EMEA, more than 40,000 active service contracts out in the field and access to over 65,000 spare part articles and consumables we make sure that our resellers can always fulfill their obligations with document scanner products on the market,” Froning concludes.
