GREEN initiative
As a good corporate citizen and an organization that is focused on continuous improvement, Dicom Transportation Group is currently reviewing ways we can help reduce our environmental impact. The communities in which we work are also the communities in which we live, so it is imperative that we protect and preserve them as best we can.
One area we’ve identified where both, Dicom and you, our customer, can work together to reduce our combined carbon footprint is by eliminating as best we can, the total number of paper invoices produced each week. Dicom currently prints over 65,000 invoices per week, or the equivalent of 39 trees per week. Combined we have the ability to reduce this amount drastically by leveraging existing technology.
Starting on February 10th 2016 Dicom will shift to paperless billing. You will have the option to receive your weekly invoices in the electronic format of your choice emailed directly to you. Should you chose to continue with a paper invoice format please note that there will be an additional 2$ environmental fee assessed per invoice printed.
Please use the link below to advise us of your choice to either switch to paperless billing or remain with a paper version. Also please note that should we receive no response we will continue to provide you paper invoices with the additional fee.
