Rick partnered with Wind Point and Scott Dobak to establish Dicom Transportation Group in February of 2014 and serves as Chairman of the Board. Rick is the former CEO of Dynamex, a $480M small parcel courier company operating across Canada and the United States.
As CEO, Rick completed over 60 acquisitions and directed a network of operating locations serving 20,000 customers. In total, Rick’s team at Dynamex consisted of over 6,200 drivers and inside staff.
Scott partnered with Wind Point to establish Dicom Transportation Group in February 2014. Prior to Dicom, Scott was the president of the $775M Transportation Management Services and Less-Than-Truckload divisions of Roadrunner (NASD: RRTS), a private-equity backed asset-light transportation provider. Prior to Roadrunner, Scott held various sales management roles at YRC/Yellow, the largest LTL trucking company in North America.
Joe joined as a Dicom Board Member in February 2014. Most recently, Joe served as CEO of ModusLink Global Solutions, a $840M provider of global supply chain services. Prior to ModusLink, Joe was an Executive Vice President at RR Donnelley.
Prior to that, Joe was the CEO of Gander Mountain, an outdoor sporting goods retailer. Joe also previously held various senior level management positions at Boston Whaler and The Gillette Company.
Konrad joined Wind Point in 2004. He currently serves on the boards of Dicom Transportation Group, Nonni’s and Rupari Foods. Prior to Wind Point, Konrad was an analyst in the Investment Banking division of A.G. Edwards Capital Markets. Konrad holds a BSBA in finance and accounting and a BA in English from Washington University in St. Louis and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he was a Canfield Private Equity Fellow.
Tom joined as a Dicom Board Member in February 2014. Tom is a Management Board Member and Chief Commercial Officer of DB Schenker AG, a 18B USD global Logistics company. Prior to DB Schenker, Tom was the CEO of AquaTerra, a private-equity backed provider of comprehensive office nourishment products. Prior to Aquaterra, Tom was the CEO of Purolator, a $1.6B transportation provider in Canada. Prior to Purolator, Tom was the CEO of FedEx’s $1B Global Supply Chain Services division.
Alex joined Wind Point in 2002. He currently serves on the boards of Dicom Transportation Group, Novolex (fka Hilex) and Vertellus Specialties. Alex’s background includes roles as a senior associate at Whitney & Co and a business analyst at McKinsey & Co. Alex holds a BA in finance from Morehouse College and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. Alex is a member of the Class VI of Kauffman Fellows.
