DICOM TRANSPORTATION GROUP RECOGNIZED IN ANNUAL SHIPPER’S CHOICE SURVEY

Dicom recognized second consecutive year in Courier and LTL Service Categories

CHICAGO, Ill., July 20th, 2016 – Dicom Transportation Group headquartered in Montreal, Canada has been named in two categories of the 2016 Shipper’s Choice survey by Canadian Shipper magazine. This is the second consecutive year that Dicom has been recognized in the areas of Courier and the first for LTL services.

Canadian Shipper magazine surveys thousands of shippers, 3PL service providers and freight forwarders across Canada annually. Respondents set benchmarks for carrier performance on eight key performance indicators (KPIs) and rate their top carriers against them.

“We are very proud of the results from the Canadian Shipper survey. It demonstrates the commitment of our organization to creating unique transportation & logistics solutions for our customers and an exemplary customer experience. We continue to diversify our services; expand geographic reach, and use technology to improve the customers’ experience. Our goal is to constantly raise the bar,” said Ken Nadler, Dicom Chief Commercial Officer.

The Canadian Shipper survey is conducted annually by an independent research firm. In the Courier category participants evaluated over 2,000 carriers. Dicom was one of eight carriers who surpassed the benchmarks as set by respondents. In the LTL category more than 3,000 carriers were evaluated and Dicom was named one of 17 that surpassed the benchmarks.

The Canadian Shipper survey represents the opinions of shippers over a broad range of characteristics including: on time performance, quality of equipment and operation, information technology, competitive pricing, customer service and leadership in problem solving.
